Pumpkin Patch

I'd been wanting to take the girls to a pumpkin patch this year but wasn't quite sure where to go. They all seem so expensive! I'm part of a Weber/Davis moms Facebook group and someone recommended Green Acres Pumpkin Patch. She said it was fun and affordable so that's were we went! The had a big slide, a corn pit, wagon ride, little hay maze, petting zoo, and cute little games for the kids.

Austyn was on the run pretty much the whole time we were there. We were always trying to catch up with her.

The little petting zoo with pigs, goats, cows, and goats.

Austyn waiting for the wagon ride.

The people who owned the pumpkin patch also own a big dairy farm. On the wagon ride we got to see baby cows and see cows being milked. We also got to hear all about their dairy farm which I thought was so interesting.

All the babies! They have about 5 births everyday.

Being milked. They are milked 4 times a day!

The corn pit was actually really fun. Me and David even got in!

The slide was probably the best part. Austyn and David went down a few times and it looked fun so I tried. It was seriously so fun. We went all went down it a million times.

Then we headed on over to the patch to pick out our pumpkins! They had all different kinds of pumpkins which was super fun. Austyn worked hard to pick out pumpkins for her and Liv. I really wanted a red one and David picked out a good one for carving.

Livie was in the Tula most of the day and she did great!

Our pumpkins!

We had such a great time! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. And it is even funner with kids!

Austyn's 3rd Birthday Party

Today is Austyn's 3rd birthday! The last 3 years have gone by so fast. It has been amazing watching her grow up. We love her!

Yesterday we celebrated her birthday by having a pink princess birthday party. It was a huge success! We had most of her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins over to celebrate with her. We had yummy pink treats, a beautiful cake made by her Aunt Dani, games, and to top it off a bouncy house!

Her awesome pink cake

Austyn loves bouncy houses but every time she has played in one there are always big kids who are a little to rough for her. At her party she was able to play in it as much as she wanted!

We had some fun races! The first was running with an egg on the spoon. Then racing with a balloon between your legs. Next we had to pull the little kids on a blanket. Last but not least the kids had to put lipstick on their dad! Lynsey got to put some on Jacob too.

Everyone wore pink and dressed up which was super fun.

The amazing people who celebrated with us!
