So its been a great week with family!  My mom came down last week and spent a couple nights at our house. David and I bought a starving student card last year which is a card with tons of great deals.  A ton of buy one get one free stuff and a lot of free stuff.  It expires at the end of the month so my mom and I decided we needed to do as much on it as we could.  First we had lunch (buy one get one free burgers at Carl's Jr.), then we went shopping.  After that we had a nice scalp treatment (for free) at a local hair school.  We finished off the day with a couple delicious shakes (again buy one get one free).  I had oreo fudge and my mamma had brownie fudge.  YUM!  The next day we treated ourselves to amazing pedicures (for free).  It was such a fun couple days with my mom.  I just love her so much.

Today was a fun day.  Me and David got to help out in nursery which was a blast.  After church David's family came down!  We went for a great walk at the park, and after that had a yummy dinner.  We also played a very competitive game of phase ten. (of course I came out the winner)

It's so good to have family around.  I have been very blessed to be born into such an amazing family and also very blessed to have married into a great family.

Summer!

Summer has been awesome.  I will be so sad when it is over.  Let me catch you up:

We welcomed a new member to our family!  Her name is Victoria Chase.  We call her Tori for short.  She is super crazy.  She is always waiting around a corner ready to attack your legs as you walk by.  Cody and her are best friends.  We love her.

For my mom's birthday we went camping!  It was really really fun.  It was so nice to get away from everything and enjoy some time together.  We relaxed by the fire, walked by the lake, went on a great hike, and I dominated at up and down the river.  We may make this camping trip a yearly tradition.

Just yesterday we concluded the Anderson reunion.  It was so so much fun.  My mom has been down all week helping get things ready.  It was so nice having her around!  I really wished I lived closer to her.  Anyway the reunion started on Thursday and ended on Saturday.  We went to seven peaks and the zoo and had a blast at both places. It was such a great time being with my whole family.  I love them so much!

This is the whole gang by age!

Cody had a blast playing with everyone.  He was sure loved by all!

Cody loved Sarah-Jane.  He was so gently with her too.  So cute.
One last thing.  Our jobs are going great.  David got a temporary job in major sales at Costco.  He works with the TV's and computers and jewelry and that stuff. He loves it and is hoping he can stay there after the summer.  I also just got a new job at Target.  I'm in human resources now.  I'm so excited!  The new job also came with a little pay raise so that was a huge blessing.

Well that's it. Life is great!

Our 1st Anniversary!

So we made it one year.  Part of me can't believe its been a whole year and the other part feels like I've been married for so long.  A lot of people have said that the first year is the hardest.  This wan't true for me.  It wasn't too hard at all.  Maybe that's because we new each other for so long before we got married.

Well our anniversary fell on a Sunday.  We went to my cousin's Tory and Bethany's baby blessing.  They have one beautiful baby.  It was so awesome to hang out with all of my family.  We had so much fun.  The next day is the day we celebrated our anniversary.  First we went to Salt Lake and had a couple's massage.  It was amazing!  David had never had a professional massage so it was a great treat for him.  We went to a school so it didn't cost to much either.  After that we went to City Creek to check that out.  We had fun looking at all of the shops and stopped at the chocolate store to buy a couple yummy chocolates.  We had some time before our dinner reservations so we decided to catch a movie.  Hunger games was playing and we watched that.  After that we went to dinner.  This was the part that I was most excited for.  We had a coin jar in our kitchen and we saved for months for this dinner.  We went to the Roof at Temple Square.  It was so delicious.

We had such a good time.  I'm so glad that I've been blessed with such a good marriage.  David treats me so well and we are so happy together.  One year down,  a million to go.

So just a little update on our life and what we have been up too:

In my last post David had just gotten a new truck.  Well he just sold that and got a new truck!  David has this thing where he gets bored of one car so he sells it and gets another.  He has had 9 cars since he as been able to drive.  I have had 1.  I do like his new truck though and we made a little money on selling the other one so I guess I won't complain!

We have been having a lot of fun with my family.  They have come down twice to go to BYU Men's volleyball games.  It is a blast seeing them play.  They are amazing.  It makes me really miss volleyball.

My family also came down for Easter.  Me and David made a nice roast with some potatoes and homemade rolls.  We had a great time eating and going for a nice walk after.  Love my family.

We started a great competition with Davids family.  It is called Game On and it pushes us to not only lose weight but have a healthier lifestyle.  We have to eat healthy and exercise, drink tons of water, work on a new habit, quit a bad habit.  Its been really great for us.  Me and David have been jogging a ton.  Its been good for Cody too.  He loves running with us.  I've been working on being more healthy for awhile now and I've lost 16 pounds!

My mom cat had kittens!   She's a pretty little cat but she managed to have 6 little kittens.  Me and David are going to keep one so we are really excited.  They are so stinkin cute.

David celebrated his 22nd birthday yesterday!  We both had to work so we couldn't do anything fun but hopefully he had a good day.   Hopefully we can go out to dinner this week to celebrate. I am sure glad he was born.

Anyway life as been super great.  Me and David are so happy together.  We love our apartment.  We have great families and an awesome dog.  I've been blessed!

Here is our awesome dog

So lets catch up

Life has been great.  My parents have come down to see us a couple times and to go to volleyball games.  It is so fun watching the BYU men's team play.  They are so amazing.  It makes me really want to play again.

My little sister went to the prom!  She went with a super nice guy.  I drove up to Morgan to help her get ready.  It was fun doing her make up and seeing her all done up.  I also loved her dress.

Easter was awesome.  My family came down to Provo and we had a delicious roast and potatoes.  I made homemade rolls and we had brownies with ice cream and all the toppings for dessert.  It was a really good day.

This last weekend David and I made another trip to Morgan.  We went to his families house and had a great time sitting around the campfire.  We spent the night and they made us an amazing breakfast.  I am not a great wife and I never make a good breakfast so that was a real treat.  We then went to church with my family and after that went to the river.  The river is so great.  We take the dogs there and they just love running and smelling and jumping in the water.  The warm weather has been so great and its nice to take advantage of it.

After we spent some time with my family we went up to Henefer and got to hang out with Robin (aka Anne)  and Justin.  We saw their new house and went on walk.  Me and David are already planning when we can hang out with them again.

We also went for a great motorcycle ride the other night!

So life is still going super great.  Me and David have been having a great time.  The super bowl was way fun.  We went to Morgan and hung out with our families.  First we went to my family’s house.  We went on a great walk with the dogs.  Cody loves playing with Sydney and Sage (my parents dogs) he is still super little so it is hard but he loves it. Then we went over to David’s family’s house.  They had a ton of food and it was a really great time. Cody would try to play with their dogs too but they did not like him as much.  It was so much fun getting back to Morgan and seeing everyone.

Another thing: David got a new truck!  It is a Ford Ranger and we like it a lot. It is so nice to have a second vehicle!
Last Tuesday was really awesome too.  I went to Ogden to have a yearly checkup at the Dr's and I hung out with my mom and sister.  We went to Chili's and had so much fun all together.

And here are some more pictures of our Cody!

This is Cody's first bath! Erin was so great and offered to do it. He did not enjoy it at all, but he was so soft after!
