The Zoo and Aquarium

A few weeks ago we went to the aquarium! My dad was nice enough to let us use some free tickets he had. Austyn LOVED it.

We also just went to the zoo. Jake and Hailey had the day off for spring break and wanted to do something fun. Again we had a great time! We brought the stroller for Austyn but I don't think she rode in it once. My favorite part of the day was seeing the baby orangutan. He was sooo adorable!

Easter

Austyn went on her first Easter egg hunt this year! We went to the assisted living where I work and joined in their hunt. They had a section for 1-4 year olds. Austyn loved it! There were a lot of other kids there but Austyn held her own pretty well!

We also dyed Easter eggs with Grandma Shope!

Austyn would stuff as many eggs as she could in the cup and then squish them all together. She also spilled 2 or 3 cups of dye everywhere. It was still way fun though!

We also played a lot outside and we learned that Austyn LOVES jumping on the tramp.

On Easter Sunday David and I watched conference then headed over to my parents. (I guess I should mention that we moved out of my parents last week)  My mom and Austyn had a sleepover so we thought we should pick her up and then we had a nice Easter dinner all together. All and all it was a great Easter! All thanks to our amazing families, and most importantly our Savior.

Finally after 7 long months David returned home!

David had lots of people to meet him at the airport! Me and Austyn of course, Teresa, Hailey, My mom and dad, and Scott and Michelle!

It has been amazing having him home. Even though he has been here for a few weeks now it is sometimes still weird to have him here. I love it. It was really really really hard having him gone.

Anyway he had a couple days off and he went right back to work at the Costco tire center. Our lives have been sooo busy. We are trying to figure what we are going to do and where we are going to live and where we are going to work. It's been pretty crazy. We wanted to try to find a place to live in Morgan because I work in Morgan and it would be hard to commute. Unfortunately nothing was available so I started looking for another job.  I actually got a new job and quit the assisted living where I work. After one day at the new job I decided that I hated it! So I'm still at the Family Tree as a CNA. We are being blessed however because just yesterday we found a basement to rent in Mountain Green! We move in at the end of March.

Today we both had the day off and decided we needed to do something fun since we have been so busy lately so we went to the Curiosity Museum at Thanksgiving Point! We had sooo much fun, especially Austyn, She ran and played and laughed the whole time.

Anyway our lives have been pretty crazy lately but we are just loving being together as a family!
